Chris Cornell Streaming New Song 'Worried Moon'

. (hennemusic) Chris Cornell is streaming "Worried Moon" as the latest track from his forthcoming fourth solo album, "Higher Truth." Due September 18, the Soundgarden frontman worked on the project with producer Brendan O'Brien in Seattle.

Cornell will launch the record with a 6-week theater tour of North America with $1 from every ticket sold going to the Chris And Vicky Cornell Foundation, a charitable organization that helps to protect the most vulnerable children facing problems such as homelessness, poverty, abuse or neglect.

The singer recently revealed that Soundgarden have begun work on the follow-up to 2012's "King Animal." "We're already working on new material for an album," Cornell told Rolling Stone. "And then I've got several other irons in the fire and things going that I won't mention now. There's a lot of things coming in addition to 'Higher Truth', as well as a new Soundgarden album."
