Metallica Release The Unforgiven Video From Reading Fest

. (hennemusic) Metallica are sharing footage of a performance of their 1991 single, "The Unforgiven", at the Reading Festival on August 29. The band's video highlight package also includes drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo in the meet and greet as well as the group warming up in the Tuning Room before the show.

The Reading appearance was the fifth date on a short run across Europe that saw the band playing a mix of headline and festival shows. Metallica are gearing up to play a headline set at the 30th anniversary of Rock In Rio on September 19.

"We're very excited," says the band, "that we have been invited to be a part of the original Rock In Rio 30-year celebration by headlining one night during the festivities taking place September 18th - 27th, 2015 at the City of Rock in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

"It promises to be quite the party as we join a stellar festival line up including Faith No More, System Of A Down, Queens Of The Stone Age, Slipknot and many others." Watch the video clip here.
