Limited-Edition Metallica Beer Announced

. (Radio.com) Canadian Metallica fans have a new reason to have a beer. The legendary metal band has teamed up with Labatt to produce a limited-edition Metallica beer.

According to Le Journal de Quebec, the beer will be available on Sept. 28 and available in cans, coming in cases of 15 and 24. Labatt will produce over 91-thousand black Budweiser cans, featuring lightning bolts, a nod to the band's 1984 album Ride The Lightning.

Metallica closed down Quebec's Pepsi Coliseum with a show on Monday (Sept. 14) and will open the brand new Vid�otron Centre on Wednesday (Sept. 16). The beer was designed to commemorate the venue's grand opening. Check out photos of the beer here.
