The Montreal set is one of four limited edition vinyl collections that the band is releasing from their 2014 Metallica By Request tour. The other three shows spotlighted in the series include Bogota, Helsinki and Istanbul.

Each 4LP set from the individual show will be limited to 500 copies and the records will be pressed on 180-gram vinyl. The band kicked off the series with the Montreal show and will release additional titles in the series each week in November beginning on the 9th.
