Grace Jones 'Didn't Feel A Soul' When Meeting Lady Gaga

. (Radio.com) Grace Jones reveals in a new interview that she couldn't "find a soul" when she met Lady Gaga. Jones' memoir, I'll Never Write My Memoir, details her many negative opinions about the state of pop music, including throwing several starlets under the bus for copying her style or pandering to popularity by copying each other.

When she went on Bev Smith's radio talk show over the weekend, Jones continued sharing her adversarial opinions by discussing her reaction to meeting Lady Gaga.

"Gaga came to me, and I just could not find a soul," Jones said. "I come from church--maybe that has something to do with it. I like to get to the soul of a person. I just didn't feel a soul."

Jones clarified that she wasn't suggesting Gaga doesn't have a soul, but rather it was more difficult to identify than with other people she knows. And the two have met four times, so there's apparently been a handful of opportunities. "She might have been freaked out with meeting me," she said. "It's okay, but then we met three times after, and 'boy, I got so angry." Read more here.
