Jason Alden Promises "More Rock-Oriented" Album Next Year
. 'We're working on it right now," said Aldean. 'Been in the studio a little bit. Hopefully a new single [will be out] some time in the spring and album in the summer." Jason didn't divulge many details about the new music he's working on, but he did give a sense of the general direction he's headed for his seventh studio effort. 'We didn't really have any big, rock tempo records for this record. Honestly, that's one thing we were lacking," he says. 'It was more vibe-y than the big tempo stuff we always had. The new album has a lot of the big tempos, a lot more rock-oriented stuff on this next one." Aldean will hit the road in the new year with Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses, full dates here.
