Anthrax Stream Previously Unreleased Track From Disease Reissue
. The track is one of eight live songs from the band's first-ever concert in Japan at Tokyo's Sun Plaza in 1987 featured on the second disc of the reissue, due on November 20. Produced by the group with Carl Canedy, the project marked the first Anthrax album to feature singer Joey Belladonna and bassist Frank Bello. The expanded 2-disc reissue presents previously unreleased bonus material including Belladonna's 1984 demo recording of the song "Medusa" and nine "rhythm tracks" from Anthrax recordings also done in 1984. "We wanted to do something special for our fans to celebrate the anniversary of Spreading The Disease," says drummer Charlie Benante. "We took the idea to Universal a couple of years ago and have been very hands-on with them, creating this special, deluxe edition that we think our fans will really like." Anthrax will support Lamb Of God on their headlining US tour in the New Year. The 6-week run opens January 15 in Pittsburgh, PA, with dates wrapping up in Los Angeles on February 12. The winter tour will be followed by the February 26 release of Anthrax's new album, "For All Kings." The follow-up to 2011's Grammy-nominated album "Worship Music" is being previewed with a lyric video for the lead track "Evil Twin."
