It looks as though the video was shot before they split, since Mercer returned the massive engagement ring she clearly sports in the video. Mercer plays Ross' main lady in the video, but she learns about his side chick and leaves.

The song is interspersed with scenes of the couple fighting and later making up, when Ross' apology--a big sexy hook sung by an auto-tuned Chris Brown--works.
