"Hunger," the third track from the new album, finds the Icelandic band beginning the track with a slow, meandering tempo that features guitar, strings and general reverb, both lead vocalists (Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson) repeating, solemnly, "I'm drowning, I'm drowning."
The song gains a bit more of a pulse shortly afterward, with a pounding bass drum cutting through added, strummed guitar--ending in a final bridge that layers the instrumentation while "I'm drowning" becomes even more of an impassioned plea.
"Hunger" is the fourth song debuted from the album, following "Crystals," "I of the Storm" and "Empire." Check out the new song here.
