The song, premiered Tuesday (May 26), finds the brothers Lawrence in their usual state of mind with a track that unfurls early on and spreads over five-plus minutes of deep house beats and computer-affected vocals.
Last time Sam Smith was the beneficiary of a Disclosure banger, thanks to "Latch" and its worldwide dominance in 2013 and 2014. This go-'round, jazz vocalist Gregory Porter's baritone brings a soulful slant to the proceedings.
Though "Holding On" has been teased as Disclosure's new album's first single, little else is known about the record so far. Check out the song here.
