"I tried to buy you all a gift but I wasn't sure of sizes and favorite colors," the Bon Jovi frontman joked during the ceremony. "I did what I do best. I was so inspired by this invitation that I sat down and I wrote you a song."
He went on to explain that he never performed the song before and he'll do his best this first time. "Wish me luck," he said as he picked up his guitar and read the lyrics from a music stand in front of the podium.
"This isn't how your story ends. My friends, it's just a fork along the road," he sang. In the song, he advised to raise hell, make memories, love your life, take pictures along the way and-most importantly-write your own song.
"Go start your own revolution and I'll see you at the reunion," he sang at the close of the song. Check it out here.
