DC Comics Upset With Rihanna Magazine Title

(Radio.com) FACT Magazine reports that Rihanna wants to start a new digital magazine called Robyn, which is her given first name. The only problem: DC Comics feels that the name is too similar to Robin, Batman's ever-ready sidekick.

Now the comic book titan is attempting to block Rihanna's trademark application for the name, arguing that Rihanna's magazine concept is "identical and/or highly related" to Robin.

It's an odd move--DC Comics argues that a digital magazine called Robyn "is likely to cause confusion, cause mistakes, or to deceive the public." Read more here.
