Trey Songz Surprises Fans With 'Intermission I & II' Release

. (Radio.com) On Sunday night, Trey Songz became the most recent major R&B artist to pull a Beyonce. The singer released his latest project onto iTunes without any warning, sharing the complete version of his new mixtape, Intermission I & II, on iTunes out of nowhere.

Now, the mixtape is available to stream on Spotify as well. The project includes 12 total songs, six of which were originally released last month on his Intermission 1 EP. The other six, comprising Intermission 2, are all new.

Trey Songz nabs his fellow Virginian Pusha T for a feature on the song "How Could You Forget": it's a silky smooth track with a sticky hook--"how could you, how could you, how could you forget," Songz croons.

He stays in this mode for the rest of the mixtape--the luxurious beats never swerve from the lane he's carved out over his long career. You can buy the entire Intermission I & II project on iTunes, and stream the mixtape here.
