Eric Clapton Remembers B.B. King In Online Tribute
. Clapton let the world know how he's feeling in a video he uploaded to Facebook on Friday (May 15), in which he eulogizes King's passing and urges his audience to listen to his music. 'He was a beacon for all of us who love this kind of music," says Clapton in the video. 'If you're not familiar with his work, I would encourage you to go out and find an album called B.B. King Live at the Regal, which is where it all really started for me as a young player." He goes on to add that King's music has become a "thing of the past." Clapton and King released a collaborative album in 2000 called Riding With the King. Read more and watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
