Tom Waits Perform New Song on 'Letterman'
. On the chorus of the spare ballad, Waits sings: "Take one last look at the place that you are leaving." It was also announced that Eddie Vedder will be the final musical guest on Letterman next Monday. As Consequence of Sound notes, if all goes similarly to recent performances by Dave Matthews Band and Ryan Adams, Vedder will likely perform "Black" off of Pearl Jam's 1992 album Ten. The song was a brief bit on the show back in the '90s. Monday night's episode will also feature Tom Hanks, and Bill Murray will stop by on Tuesday night. No guests have been announced for Wednesday night's finale, but one can expect it will be a cry-fest with wide array of guests and cameos. Watch Waits performance here.
