On Thursday (May 14) CBS announced that the guest list for the final three episodes of the shows will feature Tom Hanks, Bill Murray and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.

Both Hanks (making his 60th appearance on the show) and Vedder are scheduled for the May 18 broadcast, with Vedder leading a special music performance backed by Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra. Murray, who was Letterman's very first guest when the Late Show debuted on CBS on Aug, 30, 1993, will stop by on Tuesday. It will be his 44th appearance.
