Judas Priest To Receive Honorary WAMI Hall Of Fame Induction
. (hennemusic) Judas Priest will be inducted into the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards (WAMI) Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee on April 19. The event, which recognizes achievements in 34 music categories, will see Priest honored as the first recipient of a Global "Honorary" WAMI Hall Of Fame induction. "In keeping with WAMI's mission to promote music and the accomplishments of musicians," says WAMI President Zoy Begos, "we're stepping beyond state boundaries by recognizing Judas Priest's contributions to the local, national and international music scenes. "WAMI is proud to have Judas Priest as our first ever Global Honorary inductee into the WAMI Hall of Fame. When I contacted the band several months ago, their reaction was enthusiastic.
