Alabama Shakes Release New Song 'Future People'
. (Radio.com) We've already seen Alabama Shakes hit up Saturday Night Live and the Late Show in support of their recently announced sophomore LP, Sound and Color. And now, we have a third new single to hear (following "Don't Wanna Fight" and "Gimme All Your Love"), and it seems deserving of the hype the band is building. "Future People" showcases many of the bands strengths, including Brittany Howard's skyscraper-high vocals and her band's blues-rock groove that features some of the filthiest bass outside of EDM. The YouTube video that accompanies the song riffs off of classic geometric screensavers. Look for the new album when it is released on April 21 on ATO. We have the tracklist, as well. The hype cycle will continue when Alabama Shakes take the stage at Coachella in advance of the new album's release. See the tracklist and watch the video here.
