A lot of rock stars reacted to West's drama at the Grammy Awards and an interview he gave following the show where he insulted Beck and said he should give his Grammy to Beyonce. One of the acclaimed classic rock stars to question West's musical talent, was Michael McDonald of Doobie Brothers fame who said, "When Kanye gets to a point where he can actually put a couple of notes together either vocally or two bars of valid music playing an instrument, then he might have a right to criticize somebody else. Until then, I think he's just talking to hear the sound of his own voice."
