Harrison Ford Crashes Airplane In Emergency Landing
. (Radio.com) Actor Harrison Ford crashed a small, two-seater airplane on a Venice golf course just west of Santa Monica Airport on Thursday (March 5) afternoon. His publicist says that he was not seriously injured. The small, yellow plane crashed about 2:24 p.m. at Penmar Golf Course, 1233 Rose Ave., not far from the Santa Monica airport, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott. CBS San Francisco reports that Ford's publicist released the following statement: 'Harrison was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which stalled upon takeoff. He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely. "He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care.
