New 'Spider-Man' Actor Revealed

(Radio.com) There's a new Spider-Man in town and you may not have any idea who he is. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures announced that Tom Holland is set to be the film franchise's new title-star, with director Jon Watts (Cop Car) slated to helm the next feature.

Not familiar with Holland's name? You're not alone. The British actor has never appeared in an action or comic book film before. His biggest role to date has been playing the title role in Billy Elliot in London's West End.

You are most likely to have seen him in theaters in 2012's The Impossible, co-starring next to Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor. Director Watts is also a relative newcomer, with only a few feature films under his belt. Read more here.
