Man Dies Following Spring Awakening EDM Festival

(Radio.com) Chicago's annual Spring Awakening EDM festival took a tragic turn this past weekend with the death of a 19-year-old male attendee. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the man, identified as Steve Vongkoth, was found late Saturday night (June 13) not far from Chicago's Soldier Field stadium.

He was not responsive, and taken to the city's Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. Vongkoth, a local resident, was declared dead early Sunday morning.

While the exact cause of death has yet to be determined, police have said that it appears to be drug-related. An autopsy is slated for today (June 15). Read more here.
