Leon Bridges Streaming New Album 'Coming Home'
. It's hard to believe that less than a year ago the Sam Cooke incarnate was washing dishes at Del Frisco's Grille in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. It wasn't only after a handful of weekly live shows that Bridges was signed to Columbia Records. Some say it was off his album's title track alone. Thanks to Bridges' similar groove and vocal range, Coming Home is a contemporary throwback to Cooke's heyday with the young singer calling out the late R&B icon in the album closer "River."
