D'Angelo Already Working On New Album
. In an interview with Rolling Stone, D'Angelo revealed that "What I'm working on now is like a companion piece. I hope people receive it that way. It's part of the same vision." Judging by how many songs D'Angelo recorded in the decade plus spanning between Black Messiah and his 2000 LP Voodoo, it seems likely that some of the outtakes from last year's album could be included on this "companion piece."
