Beck Releases Funky New Single 'Dreams'

. (Radio.com) Beck says goodbye to those pretty ballads on Morning Phase to get a little funky. On Monday morning (June 15), Beck released his new single "Dreams," a bass-heavy return to his Midnight Vulture days that has him showing off a bit of falsetto to make his fans dreams comes true.

Beck, not a guy who gets complacent, admitted in a recent interview that this single is the polar opposite of anything from his last album. He also revealed that he's been working on his upcoming project for a few years. He did however say when this new project will drop, or whether it's a full length album.

What we do know is, he's interested to getting back to having a little fun. Seriously, just look at the GIF he released in tandem with the new track. This is Beck's first taste of new music since winning Album of the Year at this year's GRAMMYs, beating out Beyonce, much to Kanye West's chagrin. Check out the new song here.
