Laverne Cox's Dressed Statue of Liberty on 'Entertainment Weekly'

. (Radio.com) Laverne Cox is ready to prove she's an all-American woman. She does it on the cover of the new edition of Entertainment Weekly dressed as the Statue of Liberty.

The new cover, unveiled by the magazine and Cox on her Instagram on the eve of the release of season three of Orange Is the New Black, has an accompany interview.

For her part, Cox says she's happy to take on that celebrity and the explanation of trans life that accompanies it, but asks "I just wonder, am I allowed to be a human being?" Read more and see the cover here.
