Homer and Marge Simpson Legally Separate In Upcoming Season
. "In the premiere, it's discovered after all the years Homer has narcolepsy and it's an incredible strain on the marriage," Simpsons' executive producer Al Jean told Variety of the upcoming season. According to Jean, "Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist, who's voiced by Lena Dunham." Jean also revealed that an upcoming episode will have Lisa befriending a homeless woman "who turns out to be an incredible singer," with vocals sung by Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks. Jean further disclosed that Spider Pig will make a return, along with Sideshow Bob, who will "do something he's wanted to do for 25 years."
