Noel Gallagher Makes Counter Offer To Paul McCartney On Oasis Reunion

. (Gibson) Noel Gallagher has responded to Sir Paul McCartney's recent plea for Oasis to reunite by issuing a challenge to the Beatle legend: "Yeah, well, tell him if he writes our comeback single, it's on."

Gallagher made the - joke? Plea? - in an interview with Yahoo's Lyndsey Parker. "Tell him to write an Oasis track and then we'll talk," he continued. "I'll just put that out there."

Gallagher conceded that the constant fan demand for an Oasis reunion is flattering, if a little confusing, noting that when the band was together the British press couldn't wait for it to implode, "and then when it did implode, they can't wait for it to be back together again." Read more here.
