Frontman Lajon Witherspoon had the following to say about the album, "We took some time off from the heavy side of Sevendust and when it came time to record some new music; Clint, John, Vinnie, Morgan and I put everything we had in to what became Kill The Flaw.

The band has already lineup up a number of tour dates this fall including a run of dates with Godsmack, a one-off with Breaking Benjamin and appearances at the Aftershock Festival and the Food Truck & Rock Carnival. They expect to announce additional dates soon.
