(Radio.com) On the latest Minimation, where Radio.com combs through the CBS Radio interview archives and animate interviews with legendary artists, features a 2007 interview where Mike D of the Beastie Boys describes the various attempts that had been made to kidnap or kill the group while they were on tour.

As we've noted before, the experience of interviewing all three Beastie Boys together--Adam ("MCA") Yauch, Adam ("AD-Rock") Horovitz and Michael ("Mike D") Diamond--was akin to herding cats. It could be a lot of fun, but it was chaotic, to put it lightly. And, no matter what you asked them, you could never be sure the answer that you were getting was completely based in fiction (but it probably was).

So we'll leave this one for you to decide: in this interview, Mike D explains how dangerous it was to be a member of the Beastie Boys. He says that the band had been captured by Sasquatch (which is probably true, since they did an entire music video about it), and that other enemies of the band tried to kill them via poison meatballs, or by putting venomous worms in their food.

Mike D and Ad-Rock are currently working on a Beastie Boys memoir, which is tentatively due in 2017. Watch the video here.
