Zac Brown Band Land Their Own New Food Reality Show

. (Radio.com) Less celebrated than the music of Zac Brown is the role Brown plays as an entrepreneur, running Southern Ground as a record label and gourmet food venture.

But that is all about to change, as cable network FYI has green-lighted a new series, Rusty's RockFeast: Backstage With Zac Brown Band, that will focus on the culinary aspect of the Zac Brown Band touring empire.

The show will focus on Rusty Hamlin, Executive Chef of Southern Ground, for seven episodes beginning on July 23. Each episode will feature Hamlin preparing a meal at a different Brown tour stop for intimate"Eat 'n Greets" with selected fans.

The entertainment will presumably come from Hamlin having to come up with a new menu on the spot, sourcing local ingredients, and pulling off the massive meal with only a few hours of preparation. Read more here.
