Jerrod Niemann Releases New Track 'Blue Bandana'

. (Radio.com) As music festival season is in full swing, Jerrod Niemann--who's played his fair share of them--has released a tribute to all the fans that attend them. "Blue Bandana" is a wandering country travelogue, where Niemann name-checks all the tentpole festivals from Coachella to Bonnaroo and Wakarusa, through the eyes of a girl that travels to them.

"Being a music fan, I know that girl in the song," Niemann told Rolling Stone. "['Blue Bandana'] is a story-song and a tip of the hat to those people who drive all over the place and spend their money to let us jam with them."

"I love sitting around listening to acoustic music," Niemann explained. "It allows the music to breathe. So we drew back everything to give it a chance [to sound] like you're in the room." Check it out here.
