Nicki Minaj Two Hours Late For Festival Due To Traffic

. (Radio.com) Nicki Minaj was set to perform at 7:30 p.m. at Wireless Festival in England last Saturday (July 4), but instead left concertgoers in the lurch after she didn't show up.

The festival organizers blamed this on bad traffic on the M1 highway between Luton airport and the festival venue in several messages displayed to the audience.

"We are told she was due to be speeding down the M1 from Luton Airport, but we have lost contact with her," said one of the announcements on the festival screens. The London Standard reported severe traffic on the freeway at that time.

Soon, Nicki was found again. "We have been assured that she is still on her way and she will perform with David Guetta." Read more here.
