W.A.S.P. Cancel South American Tour Dates
. The band was scheduled to perform a series of South American dates including Bogota, Colombia on July 25th, Buenos Aires, Argentina on July 29th and Sao Paulo, Brazil on August 1st. The band released the following statement about the cancelations, "W.A.S.P. are sorry to announce that we have been forced to cancel our planned performances in South America due to lack of communication and payments by the shows promoter in Brazil, which prohibit us from getting our necessary visas for the performances. "Due to the visa problems, we will not be able to play Colombia either. We have done everything possible to play for our fans in Brazil, Argentina and Colombia but unfortunately we now cannot. We will again try in the near future when our record titled Golgotha is released." The band is still planning to head to Europe next week to kick off appearances as a number of leading summer music festivals in Germany, Finland, Sweden and Spain. They will return to Europe in September for a U.K tour following a number of dates across Sweden. You can see the announced dates here.
