Joe Satriani Launches 'Shockwave Supernova' Web Series

. (hennemusic) Joe Satriani is debuting a web series called "Behind The Album", giving fans a behind the scenes look at the making of his forthcoming release, "Shockwave Supernova."

Due July 24, the guitarist co-produced his 15th album with John Cuniberti and recorded the project late last year at Skywalker Sound in Lucas Valley, CA, with keyboardist and guitarist Mike Keneally, drummer Marco Minnemann and bassist Bryan Beller.

All of the band members are featured in the "Behind The Album" series, with each discussing their role and the album as a whole. Satriani recently issued "On Peregrine Wings" as the lead track from the record, which he named after his alter ago, one that he steps into for live performances.
