Tim McGraw To Sing Glen Campbell Song At Oscars
. (Radio.com) The upcoming Oscars ceremony just got a big name added to its list of musical performers. Tim McGraw will perform Glen Campbell's Oscar-nominated song "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" during the Feb. 22 ceremony. McGraw's performance of Campbell's final song is a dedication to the singer, who has been battling Alzheimer's. 'I'm honored to be asked to sing this powerful song from one of the true legends of the music industry," McGraw said in a press release. Campbell's family vocalized their excitement of McGraw's performance next month. 'We are thrilled that Tim McGraw will be singing 'I'm Not Gonna Miss You' on Glen's behalf at the Academy Awards," the Campbell family said in a press release. "Glen was always a fan of his music and Tim is sure to bring great emotional depth to the performance. We can't wait to hear it live!" Read more here.
