Police Want to Question Kevin Gates About Concert Shooting
. (Radio.com) Kevin Gates is wanted for questioning by the police, but not because he's committed a crime. TMZ reports that police want the Louisiana rapper to serve as a witness in a shooting incident that took place in the middle of the crowd at one of his recent shows. Gates was rapping at a club in Kentucky on Saturday--on the Southern leg of his I Don't Get Tired Tour--when the incident took place. Shots were fired after a fight broke out in the crowd: police rushed to the scene, one person suffered a non-life-threatening bullet wound and several others suffered minor injuries in the ensuing rush to the exit. Some people stayed however, and Gates jumped in the crowd and performed three more songs for them. The police want to speak to Gates because they believe that his vantage point on stage must have given him a good idea of who committed the shooting. Read more here.
