Carrie Underwood To Open Super Bowl Broadcast
. Carrie Underwood will once again be opening the Super Bowl broadcast when it airs on NBC this coming Sunday (February 1st) which will kick off at noon EST. The opening will feature Underwood performing an altered version of her Sunday Night Football theme "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night." The new version for Super Bowl 49 will be entitled "Waiting All Day for a Super Bowl Fight" and will feature new lyrics including references to the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. "I'm so honored to again be a part of the Super Bowl, this time joining NBC Sports in helping kick everything off! I can't wait to watch the game!," said Underwood in the announcement.
