Weird Al Yankovic Announces Mandatory Fun Tour
. (Radio.com) "Weird Al" Yankovic is taking over the world. At least for a few months. Weird Al announced he's hitting the road behind his latest album, Mandatory Fun, this summer. And yes, it's mandatory you go, and yes, it's mandatory that you have the best time ever. The tour kicks off on May 12 in Las Vegas for a five-night run at Planet Hollywood. He'll be making stops in New York for Governors Ball, Florida, Ohio--basically any U.S. state, he's going to be there. Al will be on tour for a while, perhaps dashing our hopes that he'll become the bandleader for Stephen Colbert's Late Show band. He's in British Columbia on Sept. 8, the night Colbert premieres.
