Ed Sheeran Premieres New Song On 'Cougar Town'

. (Radio.com) Of the places you are likely to hear new songs premiered, the TBS Courtney Cox vehicle Cougar Town is one of the more unlikely locations. But, it is 2015. All bets are off.

And so, Ed Sheeran is premiering a snippet of a never before heard song on Cougar Town. It turns out that the pairing of a new Sheeran song and a Courtney Cox TV show is not entirely out of the blue. Apparently, Cox let Sheeran live at her house last year, as is evidenced in this Instagram from back when, as recalled by Billboard.

No word on whether the new Sheeran song is an outtake from his most recent album, X, or if it will receive a proper release somewhere down the line. Cougar Town, entering its final season, is unlikely to become a hotbed of new music release activity. But we'll always have this moment. Let's never forget. Listen to the track here.
