Carrie Underwood Reveals New Look
. (Radio.com) Carrie Underwood continues her role as the face for Almay cosmetics with a new ad campaign for spring 2015 called "Simply American." The ads, unveiled Tuesday (Jan. 13), give Underwood a new look--most of the reaction on Twitter has been to praise her "natural" beauty but some fans feel she's almost unrecognizable in the shots. In reality, that's just the magic of makeup. For the campaign Underwood is not wearing her usual eye makeup. The change is a switch to brown lids, a lighter mascara, natural lashes and less eyeliner than we're used to seeing from Underwood on the stage. Paired with a more neutral lip, the look is more everyday--in step with Almay's campaign to "celebrate American beauty," in this case branded as a very natural look. See it here.
