Iggy Azalea Calls Criticisms Of Her Music Sexist

(Radio.com) While much of the criticism around Iggy Azalea is overtly about her being white, Australian, and co-opting rap tropes that many believe are not hers to use, Azalea has another suggestion as to why people are so critical of her every action: her sex. Yes, Iggy Azalea thinks that being a woman has to do with all the harsh words that are used about her, and she just might have a point. "Well, I never thought it was strange," Azalea said to Vanity Fair about being a white, female rapper from Down Under. When pressed about whether the critiques on her are misogynistic, she responded "Well, they don't say that stuff about Macklemore.
