YG Fans Protest 'My Krazy Life' Grammy Snub
. (Radio.com) There's been a perceived slight in the GRAMMY nominations this year, stemming from the snubbing of My Krazy Life, the debut album from rapper YG that's snagged all sorts of critical acclaim as well as radio success, from the Best Rap Album category. And not only is the rapper himself kind of upset about it. His fans are, too. Billboard reports that fans of the rapper took to the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles over the weekend, picketing to protest YG's absence. "YG, why not?" was among the chants, while signs read "Honk for YG," "Bruh!" and other phrases on the sidewalk in front of the museum's entrance. A photo, posted to YG's own Twitter account, shows a group of about a dozen, some of them children. Though he was appreciative, the Compton rapper noted that he didn't orchestrate the protest. Another Twitter photo shows the aftermath: apparently, the protesters were removed from the premises. See the posts and photos here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
