One Direction's Fans Vs. One Direction Cover Band

. (Radio.com) We all know that One Directioners can be vicious--need we remind you of that Daily Show incident? But recently, fans of the beloved pop fivesome banded together to fight their greatest opponent yet: a One Direction tribute band.

Yes, you read that correctly. But how could anyone think they could properly pay tribute to the un-tributable? That is just what One and Only Direction has tried to do.

Myspace points to a hilarious series of tweets aimed at the lookalikes, all delivered with the choice hashtag #STOPyouarenot1D. The backlash for the One Direction tribute band even spread beyond the reaches of the English language.

Most of the complaints were about how the tribute band looked, and not how they sounded, which begs the question: is One Direction is all about looks? Read the tweets and see the photos here.
