According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (via Billboard), the 19-year-old rapper punched a 20-year-old security guard after the guard stopped and checked his credentials before he went on stage on Friday (Jan. 2).

The guard was taken to the hospital with a broken nose and other facial injuries. Bada$$ was arrested after the show and spent the night in custody. He appeared in court the following day where he was charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
