CeDell Davis Streaming New Album Online
. (The Blues) CeDell Davis has streamed upcoming album "Last Man Standing" exclusively with The Blues Magazine. The 88-year-old Mississippi Delta bluesman's fifth title is launched on Monday via Sunyata Records - and it was made despite a stroke rendered him unable to play guitar in 2005. Davis says in the current edition of The Blues Magazine, on sale now: "We just got in the room and started playing. We worked the songs out right there on the spot. I think it's the best record I ever recorded. It's the record of a lifetime." The childhood polio victim reflects: "I did have an awful time growing up. But I'm the type of person who's not going to give up. I always tell people, 'I don't plan on dying - I plan on living. Dying will take care of itself.'" Check out the album stream here.
