In an interview with the local Fox 5 TV station in Atlanta, Bobbi Kristina's aunt, Leolah Brown says when she first saw her niece hooked up to a ventilator in the hospital she was "very numb to see her."

"It's been very, very painful for everybody. Mainly Bobby [Brown], because that's his baby," she said of Bobbi Kristina's father. But, Bobbi Kristina's aunt says her niece is "doing better" and that she is "hopeful" that Bobbi Kristina will recover.

"She is doing better," she said. "So let's be hopeful. � I'm asking people to pray. There are so many signs showing us that she will be OK. Krissi is fine," she said, before noting one of those signs. "She's opening her eyes. Krissi is doing well right now. She is."
