Death Cab for Cutie Release 'Black Sun' Video
. (Radio.com) Death Cab for Cutie's new album, Kintsugi, is being released by Atlantic Records on March 31. The band has already starting playing shows, a first since the departure of founding member Chris Walla, and a first single, "Black Sun," has been released. On Wednesday, the Ben Gibbard-fronted Seattle band share their first music video from the new collection, also for "Black Sun," directed by Robert Hales. In the clip, the band plays a production team, filming a scene in which an injured stunt actor gets hit by a car. If you are not a fan of slow motion, you are watching the wrong music video. In other news, CoS points out that the band has booked a Madison Square Garden headlining date for the end of summer with Explosions in the Sky supporting. This is in addition to a lengthy already announced tour, which includes performances with The Antlers, Tune-Yards, and Built to Spill. Watch the video and see the dates here.
