Katy Perry's Super Bowl Sharks Appear In ESPN Promo
. (Radio.com) Have Katy Perry's Super Bowl sharks jumped the shark? Well one thing is certain, even though their 15 minutes of fame is on minute 14, there is still some fun to be had with the foam and fabric-based aquatic purveyors of fun. Their newest yuck is on the Sportscenter ad that just started running, where it supposes that network anchors John Anderson and Bram Weinstein were actually sent by ESPN to work at the Super Bowl, playing the sharks. It is revealed that Weinstein was actually the left shark, when he asks Anderson, "I wasn't too out of sync, was I?" "Nah," Anderson replies, "and if you were, I bet nobody even noticed." ESPN has a history of letting the music world into their promotional spots. The last time was when Metallica appeared, and included an even more memorable outtake reel. For now, check out the sharks here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
