. (Radio.com) Kelly Clarkson has released the video for "Heartbeat Song" and the clip takes its title quite literally. First--it's a song, of course. But then there's the opening scene, which shows the monotonous beeping of a heart rate monitor before it flatlines. Such is the story behind "Heartbeat Song," the video for the first single from Clarkson's upcoming Piece by Piece. Something--generally a relationship--is flatlining, and here's what happens afterward. While the subjects in the clip pick up the broken pieces of failed relationships, Clarkson is found in a colorful room that mimics the lighting scheme of the Piece by Piece album cover.
